Celebrate pride month 2021 virtually! Let’s get together to celebrate pride and support organizations across Pennsylvania from the comfort and convenience of our own homes. We have plenty of online events for you to join from October 9th – 10th.
The second annual VRchat Virtual Pride is taking place on October 9th – 10th, 2021! Walk around a virtual world where you’ll get to make new friends, learn more about Pennsylvania-based organizations, watch our YouTube and Twitch live streams, dance, and have fun! You DON’T need a virtual reality headset to join! To participate in VRchat, create an account here. Then download VRchat through Steam or, if you have an Oculus headset, you can download it right from the Oculus store. When you’re in the app, search worlds for “Virtual Pride 2021”. You’ll see our pride table and the Virtual Pride 2021 logo in the preview image. The world isn’t live yet, but stay tuned! See participating organizations below.
Another interactive event you can join is our JackBox Zoom call. You don’t need a Zoom account to join in the fun! Zoom links pending.
The moderator, Chriss, will allow up to the amount of people required to play any given game into the Zoom call to play one game. Then they’ll boot everyone and allow new players in for the next game. While you’re waiting in queue, or if you’d just like to watch, follow our Twitch Account where we’ll be live streaming the game!
Last, but not least, join us and other participating organizations in learning about and celebrating pride together with drag shows, discussion panels, and more. From 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST on October 9th and 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM on October 10th, we’ll have live streams you can watch on our Youtube Channel. See the participating organizations below and we will be posting the schedule shortly.
Our mission is to get a law passed in Pennsylvania that would allow transgender minors to access puberty blockers confidentially (without requiring consent from a parent or guardian).
